We believe you should know exactly how your data is used. Here's a human-readable summary of our privacy practices.

What data we collect

Your location coordinates (latitude and longitude) when sharing is enabled
Your Group Hash names (e.g., #family)
Your email address for account purposes
Basic device information for app functionality

When we collect it

Location data is only collected when you have sharing enabled for a hash
When sharing is paused or off, no location data is transmitted
You control when background location is active via app settings

Who can see your location

Group Hashes: Only members you invite to the group
Quick Share: Only people with your temporary link
You can leave groups or stop Quick Shares at any time
We never sell or share your location data with third parties

Data retention

We only store your current/latest location (no historical tracking in MVP)
When you delete a hash, all associated location data is deleted
Account deletion removes all your data permanently

Your controls

Pause sharing anytime with one tap
Leave groups or stop Quick Shares whenever you want
Delete your entire account and all associated data
Quick Shares expire automatically
